What makes you so right?
My mom went to a wedding and the bride stood up at the reception with a list. The bride said:
“When I was single, I made a list of the qualities that I want in a man. I want someone who is: Strong, intelligent, smart, loving, funny, handsome, sweet.…… And that is exactly what I got!” The crowd cheered! I, on the other hand, threw up a little in my mouth! I knew what my mom was going to say to me next.
"Hannah, you need to write a list of the type of man you want, then maybe you will have a shot at getting married!"
I cut her off and said:
"Mom, that IS the MAN I want… We all have that same list! Sure funny to me may mean something different to you… but essentially it’s the same grocery list of qualities. I think we’re all looking for the same man.. the same prince charming who will sweep us off our feet, have 2.3 kids, a dog and a white picket fence. "
What are you looking for in a guy (or girl)?
