Are you the CEO of your desk?
Posted by Hannah Shears
I remember walking into my place of employment; looking around and noticing that I did not get along with a lot of people there… so I decided to quit. I started working at the next place and although I like the place more, I had bigger problems with 1 person there.
It could not be me, it had to be the place I work at, so I quit there too. I soon realized that I was the common denominator in the equation and needed to start looking internally and stop blaming externally.
We all bring complex personalities to the table with different perspectives of the same situation. As individuals, we “mirror” or “project” our beliefs on our outside environments.
A basic understanding of human mirroring and projection can help us to identify the gift, turning crisis into an opportunity for the betterment of all involved.
I have developed a workshop explores transforming obstacles within our teams into amazing opportunities for growth within our organizations. When we are equipped with skills to enhance our personal development, we are able to become the CEO of not only our desk but our lives.
Find out why there really is an “I” in team. This interactive workshop shows us the importance of understanding ourselves first in order to work effectively in teams. By enhancing each team member’s abilities we can tap into an immeasurable power.
